How can I make exercise a part of my regular routine?

Make everyday activities more active. Even small changes can help. You can take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk down the hall to a coworker's office instead of sending an email. Wash the car yourself. Park further away from your destination. Be active with friends and family. Having a workout partner may make you more likely to enjoy exercise. You can also plan social activities that involve exercise. You might also consider joining an exercise group or class, such as a dance class, hiking club, or volleyball team. Keep track of your progress. Keeping a log of your activity or using a fitness tracker may help you set goals and stay motivated. Make exercise more fun. Try listening to music or watching TV while you exercise. Also, mix things up a little bit - if you stick with just one type of exercise, you might get bored. Try doing a combination of activities. Find activities that you can do even when the weather is bad.You can walk in a mall, climb ...

What is the Immune system?

Image
• One of the ways our body uses its immune system is as a defense mechanism to fight disease, bacteria, viruses and foreign matter • Our bodies have a vast network of cells and tissues on the lookout for ‘foreign invaders’ • As soon as these ‘invaders’ are detected the immune system is activated There are 2 types of Immune Responses: Adaptive Immunity Takes more time to develop, but it is more precise and therefore effective towards an attacking pathogen (foreign invaders) Innate Immunity This is fast and reacts quickly to eliminate bacteria, viruses and any foreign material. So what should I eat Ryan? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Image
Here's my suggestion : A combination of vegetable and animal protein sources each day. Soy is one of the best vegetable as it is a 'complete' protein that provides all the amino acids. As other vegetable protein sources like nuts, seeds and lentils are not 'complete proteins', try to combine them to provide a better propotion of amino acids. For animal protein, high quality sources include fish, poultry, eggs and low fat dairy products, which provide the additional benefits of iron, Zinc and B vitamins. Don't hesitate to get in contact with us for more information & customised plans.
