Strentgh training is not only beneficial for your body, but it also has been studies to have significant improvements for mental health! π
Here are 3 reasons why! ⬇️⬇️
1. Lifting can reduce anxiety. The process of stretching before, priming your body for each exercise, and having to to focus on just your session. Taking your mind away from all other worries. π»
2. Lifting raises self-esteem. Over long and short periods of time. Nothing feels better than going heavier in lifts and surprising yourself in what you can do! π£
3. Lifting eases depression. Not only that but you gain more social support & interaction by being in a social environment. ❤️
