10 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE... ⁣ I started my fitness journey ✅ ⁣

⁣1. Everyone around you will always have an opinion about what and how you do things. Only give an ear to those who have done it themselves. ⁣🗣
2. Food is not the enemy. Do NOT CUT OUT  FOOD GROUPS. ⁣😑
3. It won’t take just 12 weeks or even a whole year for you to reach all of your goals. It will take MANY YEARS. Be Patient. ⁣
4. Document your progress in pictures. Not the number on the scale. The scale is 💩.⁣
5. Mindset will be what makes or breaks a sustainable journey. Work on it ALWAYS. ⁣
6. Diets that promise FAST results, create short term/cookie cutter progress. Be in it for the LONG RUN. ⁣🌻
7. Everything you do to fuel, care, and recover outside of the gym MATTERS. Don’t neglect all the other things overworking your body in the gym. ⁣👍
8. What you fill your calories with is far for important than just hitting them. ⁣🙌
9. Sustainability is what you TRULY SEEK, stop hoping on and off things that clearly are depriving you.⁣ 💀
10. It’s okay to not always be motivated. But you will have to be disciplined. 👊 ⁣
